Workshop Night
The Pinewood Derby Workshop Night is Friday, January 20 from 6:30 – 8:30 at the Holy Redeemer Church, 4 Green Street, Merrimac. The Holy Redeemer Church is a new location for the workshop this year. If you haven’t already started working on your car, this is a great opportunity to begin. The following work stations will be available:
- Car Design
- Cutting / Shaping
- Power Sanding Tire and Axles
- Hand Sanding / Weigh In
- Painting / Detailing
For some car building ideas, check out the designs and photos in the documents listed below. Please note that some of the cars included here push the creative boundaries beyond what would pass inspection on race day for Pack 14 or at the district races. Cars that do not pass inspection can not place in races.

Northern Light District Pinewood Derby
The top two racers from each rank will move on to the district races. The Northern Light District Pinewood Derby will be held on Saturday, March 10 at the Hope Community Church, 11 Hale Street, Newburyport, MA 01950. The registration dealine is March 9. (Registration and related information).
